Learn more about Margot Hallman and her team.

Ms. Hallman is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Bar Association. She is an accredited member of the Ontario Association for Family Mediation, a Chartered Mediator with the ADR Institute of Canada, and a member of both the Arbitration Panel and Mediation Panel of the ADR Institute of Ontario. She has been on the Committee of the ADR Institute that qualifies mediators who wish to become a “Chartered Mediator.” Ms. Hallman is also a member of Family Mediation Canada, and she is a founding member of the Peel Family Mediation Service.

She has been an agent for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer since 1991. Ms. Hallman is also trained to practice Collaborative Family Law and is a member of the Collaborative Lawyers of Halton and Peel and the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation.

Stacey Leger is the first contact that clients will have with Ms. Hallman’s office. She provides information about the various dispute resolution processes that Ms. Hallman offers and she is a helpful resource to clients throughout the process that they choose. Stacey has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario as well as a Certificate in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University. She is currently undergoing training to become an accredited member of the OAFM and a Chartered Mediator with the ADR Institute of Canada.

Barbara Anderson has a Master’s of Social Work with many years of experience as a clinical investigator with the Office of the Children’s Lawyer. She also has experience providing custody and access assessments and she has frequently been designated as an expert witness at trials dealing with custody and access. Ms. Anderson is also an accredited member of the OAFM.

Sheila Brown has a Masters of Social Work, with experience in clinical and managerial positions in Children’s Mental Health Centres in Toronto and Peel region. Sheila has clinical expertise in dealing with many issues confronting families in transition. Ms. Brown is an accredited member of the OAFM and a member of FMC.

Stephen Cross is a registered social worker with many years of experience as a clinical investigator with the Office of the Children’s Lawyer. He has frequently been designated as an expert witness at trials dealing with in custody and access. Mr. Cross also has experience as a parent co-ordinator as well as extensive experience in assisting parents to develop a healthy approach to parenting young children and adolescents. Pam Fanjoy has a Masters of Social Work with experience in clinical positions in Children’s Mental Health Centres in Peel. She has expertise in determining the developmental and emotional needs of children whose parents are separating. Ms. Fanjoy is an accredited member of the OAFM and a member of FMC.
